It had decent moral stories for plots, focused on actual issues people face such as overworking and isolation/loneliness issues, and did a good job establishing its characters in a way kids would like and adults could enjoy if needing to sit with them and watch. The show was good for the first couple seasons. Honestly, I'm gonna be dead ass about MLP right now. It doesn't necessarily have to be about MLP, it's just likely that it is. Small edit: Technically she didn't quite say what kind of pony stuff it would be, this is merely implied from previous knowledge and other comments. But being the paranoid person I am, who has seen things like this happen (albeit on insanely smaller scales), I'd rather not have it even potentially happen.Įither way, Im not into that sort of stuff really (I will admit I watched the show to see why it was so well received and while it wasn't bad, the fanbase was vitriol incarnate), so I'm just going to pass on that stream, which I feel a lot of people will do as well. The internet is still full of volatile people who will gladly jump at any reason to mock others, and what better way to label all Hololive members and fans as furries than saying "Oh look, their top vtuber is a furry, so they all must be too." The last thing people would want is more loud and obnoxious people going around using this as a way to ridicule both the talents themselves and the fans who watch them. Well, actual furries aside, its more that pony stuff is basically a hate topic for a lot of people online.
