It is well worth your time to learn how to use this free software successfully, as you will enjoy it for years to come. I have used DeepSkyStacker to align, calibrate and integrate every deep-sky astrophotography image I have ever taken. I mostly use this when stacking images for sunspots. The version I currently use to stack and register my astrophotography images is DeepSkyStacker 4.2.3. In this post there is a video demonstrating how to use the free to download software Deep Sky Stacker for the PC and also a post on using Regim which can be used on a Mac and is also free to download and use. I am reasonably certain there is not currently any free (in either sense) software for stacking that runs directly on MacOS and is anywhere close to as good as CombineZP. AutoStakkert Autostakkert is another stacking software that can be used instead of Registax if you have trouble with the images being aligned perfectly in Registax.
